Covid pandemic as a catalyst for good innovations

Lidské dějiny jsou plné užitečných objevů a vynálezů, které byly dlouhý čas vymýšleny a sestrojeny, ale nedočkaly se většího použití až do té doby, než si jejich přítomnost na scéně vynutila změna poměrů. V pátek 28. září 1928 pronesl údajně Alexandr Fleming svou slavnou větu: „Thats funny!“ při pohledu na Petriho misku se stafylokoky, kde kontaminující plísně bránily růstu bakterií. Průmyslová výroba penicilinu se však zdařila až v roce 1943 a nemalou měrou k urychlení výzkumu přispěla zásadní podpora vlády Spojených států amerických, vedená silnou potřebou účinnější léčby válečných zranění...
