Cardiology is a field which is developing rapidly and is increasingly separated from internal medicine. It is built on a comprehensive
theoretical basis, but also offers interventional methods of diagnosis and treatment. Doctors and nurses working in this field
should posses great amount of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, but also human qualities. On one side there is a visible
progress of medical science with new technologies, and on the other these aspects must be supported by teams of well-trained
non-medical staff. Training of those who care for patients never ends. Increasing information and technological demands of industry,
the need to communicate in interdisciplinary teams and solving complex ethical issues including coping with prolonged
stress are strong minutiae.
