Interventional Cardiology 2004 in the Czech Republic: report of the Working Group on Interventional Cardiology

Sdělení podává přehled celkového počtu výkonů, které byly provedeny na pracovištích intervenční kardiologie v  České republice v roce 2004. Bylo provedeno 57 062 diagnostických koronárních angiografií, tj. 5 700/milion obyvatel a 21 820 perkutánních koronárních intervencí (PCI), tj. 2 180/milion obyvatel, čímž jsme dostihli vyspělé země Evropské unie. První místo nám náleží v počtu provedených primárních PCI u akutního infarktu myokardu s elevacemi ST segmentu (STEMI) – celkem 7 290 výkonů, což představuje 730/milion obyvatel. Naopak zdaleka nedosahujeme evropské úrovně v počtu implantovaných „lékových stentů“ (Drug eluting stents – DES) – poměrem 5,6 % jsme na jednom z posledních míst.
