Před více než čtyřmi roky pracovní skupina složená z intervenčních kardiologů, klinických elektrofyziologů, několika pracovníků koronárních jednotek a pracovníků vydavatelství Solen iniciovala vznik nového českého časopisu věnovaného akutní a intervenční kardiologii a elektrofyziologii. Redakční rada si dala za cíl, aby časopis sloužil jako fórum pro výměnu praktických zkušeností, prezentaci nových metod, zajímavých kazuistik, zpráv z kongresů a samozřejmě i výsledků originálního výzkumu. Jako priorita redakční rady byl stanoven požadavek na co nejvyšší odbornou úroveň časopisu...
