Prim. MUDr. Ladislav Groch, Ph.D., sedmdesátiletý

Začátkem října 2024 oslavil své 70. narozeniny prim. MUDr. Ladislav Groch, Ph.D. Tohoto výročí se dožívá v plné pracovní i osobní síle, stále působí na katetrizačních sálech v Brně a v Bratislavě, provádí nejsložitější intervenční kardiologické výkony a v noci jezdí k pacientům s akutním infarktem myokardu. Všichni bychom si přáli, abychom v jeho věku byli stejně výkonní jako on. MUDr. Ladislav Groch patří k pionýrům intervenční kardiologie v České republice, a především na Moravě výrazně ovlivnil začátky většiny kardiovaskulárních center. V druhé polovině 90. let minulého století významnou měrou přispěl k rozvoji péče o pacienty s akutním infarktem myokardu, která od té doby patří k nejlepším na světě. K jeho žákům patří několik vedoucích kardiocenter včetně prof. MUDr. Jana Kováče, který se řadí mezi nejúspěšnější české kardiology v zahraničí.
