Renal denervation: What is its current position?

Recent studies on catheter-based renal denervation have failed to demonstrate the efficacy of this method in order for it to be implemented

into routine practice. Further research should be undertaken in specialized centres with the aim to identify patients who might

benefit from this treatment modality.
