Heart catheterizations has been recognized for several decades as indispensible method for evaluation of broad spectrum of heart disease

and particularly in patients with coronary heart disease. Diagnostic and interventional procedures are performed in huge number

of patients worldwide and require significant personal and financial resources. In order to cut the costs there has been in early ninetieth

introduced outpatient catheterizations. With new, more advanced devices and particularly with introducing radial approach as routine

arterial entry site, there is increasing number of outpatient procedures.
